7.2. Automatic transmission

GENERAL INFORMATION

On the cars described in this management, the mechanical transmission or the 3rd – the 4th high-speed automatic transmission is established 5-cкоростная. In this part work with an automatic transmission is described. Operations on repair and service of a mechanical transmission are described in the first part of this chapter.

The A132L model is a three-high-speed automatic transmission which is established on cars with engines 4E-FE and 4A-FE. Gear shifting is supervised by a regulator and the provision of a butterfly valve. The A240L model which is established on model with engines 4A-FE and 7A-FE, is a four-high-speed automatic transmission at which the fourth transfer is raising. On both models of transmissions the hydrotransformer with the blocking frictional coupling is established.

In view of complexity of the device of an automatic transmission and need of use of the special equipment for its repair, in this chapter the operations connected with carrying out the current maintenance, by diagnostics, transmission adjustment, and also removal and installation operations are described only.

If the transmission demands serious repair, it is necessary to send her to a repair truck. You can remove and establish a transmission for reduction of expenses, but directly repair is necessary for entrusting experts.
