| 1. Timely replacement of oil is the most effective measure applied by the owner to avoid premature wear of the engine owing to aging of oil, its razzhizheniye and pollution. |
| 2. Before the beginning of works prepare all necessary tools and materials (see fig. A set of accessories to oil change in the engine and the filter). Also prepare a large number of pure rags and newspapers for absorption of the spilled oil. |
| 3. For ensuring access to the lower part of the car, it is necessary to establish the last on two supports with a cross-piece, either to lift a telfer, or to call in on a hole or a platform. |
| 4. If you faced for the first time performance of such work as oil replacement, at first attentively examine the car from below, find a drain stopper of the pallet of the engine. It is necessary to replace oil on the warm engine therefore while the engine and details of an exhaust system still cold, try to perform other works. |
| 5. Establish the car on a horizontal platform. Start and warm up the engine (the arrow of the index of temperature of cooling liquid should be at least over the lowermost line). It is best of all to replace oil on the warm engine as it flows down quicker and carries away with itself more pollution. After warming up stop the engine, unscrew a stopper of a maslozalivny mouth on a cover of a head of cylinders. |
| 6. Lift the car and establish on supports. |

7. Carefully, trying not to concern hot details of an exhaust system, substitute the pallet under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper. |
8. If the engine is warmed strongly up, for some turns to a full reversing of a stopper dress gloves. To turn on a drain stopper of the oil pallet it is recommended by a cap key or a face head in order to avoid failure of sides of a stopper. |
| 9. Merge oil in the substituted pallet. During time plum of oil watch a stream in time to rearrange a vessel. Check existence in the merged oil of metal shavings and sawdust. |
| 10. After running off of oil wipe a stopper pure rags. Even the smallest parts of the metal which stuck to a stopper and have not been removed, can cause fast pollution of fresh oil. |
| 11. Wipe the pallet about a drain opening and wrap a stopper. Densely tighten a stopper, watching to stripping a thread. |
| 12. Substitute the pallet under the oil filter. |
| 13. Clean from under the car all tools, rags and other extraneous subjects (do not touch the pallet with the merged oil), lower the car. |

14. By means of a special key unscrew the oil filter (to rotate counter-clockwise) then turn out the filter hands. For an otvorachivaniye any standard key will be suitable for oil filters (but to tighten the filter follows only hands). Right after an otvorachivaniye of the filter incline it a carving part up not to spill the oil which has remained in the filter. |
Prevention
Be careful, as the final collector can be still hot.

| 15. Wipe pure rags a place of a prileganiye of the filter on the block of cylinders. If in this place there will be a fulfilled oil, in process of an engine warming up this oil will smoke. Remove also all remains of a material of laying, having if necessary scratched out from a surface. |

16. Be convinced that the type and the sizes of the new filter completely coincide with type and the sizes of the fulfilled. Slightly oil for the engine rubber laying of the new filter and wrap the filter into place. |
| 17. Tighten the filter by hand, to wrap the filter a key it is not allowed in order to avoid damage of rubber laying. Tighten the filter until then while laying will not contact with a surface of the block of cylinders. Then hold on the filter, having turned it on 3/4 turns. |
| 18. Fill in oil of the necessary brand through a stopper of a maslozalivny mouth on a cover of a head of cylinders. Fill in oil through a funnel, avoid an oil prolivaniye on the top part of the engine. At first fill in about 0,8 l of oil then wait some minutes that all oil flew down in the pallet and shchupy check oil level (see subsection 2.3). Continue to add oil in the small portions, before achievement of a mark F on щупе the index then wrap a stopper of a mouth and tighten by hand. Start the engine that oil filled all lubricant channels. |
| 19. On the working engine check tightness of a stopper of the pallet and the filter, having tracked these places within a minute. At emergence of a leak stop the engine and tighten a stopper or the filter. |
| 20. Stop the engine and wait some minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Again check oil level on щупу. If necessary add oil to a mark F on щупе. |
| 21. During several trips after oil change in the engine watch a leak more often and check oil level. |
| 22. The fulfilled oil is subject to utilization as to use it further it is impossible. Consult concerning oil delivery for processing in local points on utilization. It is forbidden to merge the fulfilled oil to the earth. After cooling merge the fulfilled oil in a vessel (in the canister, large bottles with a stopper etc.) for delivery in the closest point of reception of oil products. |
