6.5.6. Temperature sensor of system retsirkulyatsiya (EGR sensor)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The temperature EGR sensor is mounted near the retsirkulyatsiya valve. The sensor traces change of temperature of exhaust gases when passing via the retsirkulyatsiya valve.

Information on temperature arrives in the control unit which precisely regulates time of turning on / switching off of the valve, providing increase of efficiency of purification of exhaust gases. At violation of operation of the temperature EGR sensor in memory the code 71 registers.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the conducting socket.
2. Measure resistance of the sensor at various temperatures. Standard values of resistance at various temperature are specified in subsection 6.1.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket of conducting and a rozhkovy key turn out the sensor from an inlet collector.
2. Installation is carried out upside-down.
