This system is intended for catching паров gasoline in a fuel tank, in the chamber of a butterfly valve and a soaking-up collector, thereby preventing their hit in the atmosphere in the form of hydrocarbons.
The system consists of a tank with an absorber (absorbent carbon), the pipelines connecting an absorber to a fuel tank, the thermopneumovalve and the control valve.
On the idle engine of pair of gasoline get to an absorber from a tank and the butterfly valve chamber where there is their absorption. At engine start the tank with an absorber is blown by a stream of the air which is soaked up by the engine, pairs are fond of this stream and дожигаются in the combustion chamber.
The tank is equipped with three ball valves assembled in the uniform case. Depending on power setting and pressure in a fuel tank ball valves connect or separate a tank with the thermopneumovalve (which it is included consistently with the butterfly valve chamber).
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Such malfunctions in system as failure of the control valve, tank damage with an absorber, stratification or cracking of hoses, the wrong accession of hoses, lead to unstable work idling and to deterioration of traction qualities of the engine. Check a condition of laying of a stopper of a jellied mouth of a tank (see subsection 5.7). |
2. Obvious loss of gasoline or a gasoline smell in salon can be caused by a leakage of gasoline pipe lines, cracks or other damages of a tank with an absorber, failure of the control valve, and also a detachment, the wrong accession, perezhatiy, peretiraniy or mechanical damage of connecting hoses. |
3. Check a condition of each hose connected to a tank, surveying a hose on all length. If necessary a hose replace. |
4 whether. Check there are a gasoline podtekaniye in the lower part of a tank. If there is a leak, a tank replace and check a condition of hoses and correctness of their connection. |
5. Examine a tank. At detection of cracks or mechanical damages a tank replace. |
|
6. Check purity of the filter and serviceability of the control valve. Submit to a tube for a tank purge air under small pressure. Air should pass freely from other tubes. Otherwise a tank replace. |
|
7. Check operation of the thermopneumovalve. On completely cooled down engine submit the manual pump air to A.Termopnevmoklapan's canal air should not pass. Warm up the engine to temperature not below 55 ° S.Teper the valve should pass air. Otherwise the thermopneumovalve replace. |

Tank replacement with absorbent carbon
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Disconnect hoses from a tank, previously having marked them. |
2. Unscrew fastening bolts, submit a tank together with an arm down, disconnect hoses from the control valve and remove a tank from the car. |
3. Installation is carried out upside-down.
