Partition of a mechanical transmission – very complex challenge for the simple motorist. She demands dismantling and assembly of very large number of fine details. It is necessary to maintain very precisely mass of gaps and to change them, if necessary, establishing new washers or lock rings. Therefore, if with a transmission there will be problems, the simple motorist can remove and establish a transmission, but its partition is necessary for entrusting experts. You can get, also, for already restored transmission – look on a car market or in repair trucks. In any case, time and the money spent for an independent partition of a transmission, almost always exceed cost of purchase of already restored unit.

Despite it, the motorist possessing the necessary equipment, can carry out transmission restoration if will perform work consistently and accurately.

Tools which are necessary for a transmission partition, include flat-nose pliers, the strippers, a sliding hammer, a set of punches, a tsiferblatny measuring instrument and, probably, a hydraulic press. Also, the big, steady desktop and a vice are necessary.

When dismantling transmission, remember the provision of installation of all elements to make assembly simpler and more precisely. Schemes on which elements of a mechanical transmission (are shown to cм are provided in head. fig. Elements of a mechanical transmission 1, fig. Elements of a mechanical transmission 2 and fig. Elements of a mechanical transmission 3).

Before the beginning of dismantling of a transmission it is desirable, that you approximately knew, what part of a transmission failed. Some problems can be caused by malfunctions in strictly certain areas of a transmission that can simplify considerably process of survey and replacement of faulty elements.
