5.2. Order of performance of a decompression of fuel system

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Gasoline is legkovosplomenyaemy liquid therefore observe extra care at works on any part of fuel system. In a place of works smoking, using open fire, and also use of lighting devices without a protective grid are forbidden. Works in the garage equipped with water heaters, dryers and lighting devices on the basis of natural gas are forbidden. Gasoline is cancerogenic substance, therefore at works in which inevitably prolivany gasoline on hands dress latex gloves. At gasoline hit on skin immediately wash up the struck place water with soap.

Immediately wipe the spilled gasoline, do not store the rags impregnated with gasoline in places where it can ignite. Fuel system constantly подерживается under pressure. At performance of any kind of works dress goggles and keep in readiness the class B fire extinguisher.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before starting repair of any detail of fuel system, it is necessary to dump pressure of fuel to avoid a fire and service personnel traumas.
2. Unscrew a stopper of a jellied mouth. Dumping of residual pressure in a tank is thus provided.
	3. Disconnect the socket from the relay of the fuel pump. For access to the relay remove the receiver (see subsection 12.11) and get the holder of a cover of the relay.
4. Start the engine, wait stops of the engine and switch off ignition.
5. After performance of these actions pressure in fuel system is absent.
Prevention Before weakening a collar of a hose or to unscrew the union of a gasoline pipe line spread rags to avoid hit of the spilled gasoline on the engine.
6. Before the beginning of works disconnect the battery from weight.
