3.1.2.8. Repair of valves

GENERAL INFORMATION

Because of complexity of works and need of use of special tools and the equipment, it is best of all to charge repair of valves, saddles and directing plugs to the skilled expert.

In house conditions performance of the following works is possible: removal and dismantling of a head (heads) of the block of cylinders, its washing and condition check, repeated assembly and delivery in service of car-care center of the dealer or in specialized workshops for repair of valves and saddles.

In service of car-care center or in specialized workshops the following types of works are carried out: removal of springs and valves, polishing or replacement of valves, saddles and directing plugs, check and replacement of springs, plates, basic washers and crackers (as required), replacement of maslosjemny caps, assembly of details of the valve, check of height of a spring in a free condition. At a deviation from the plane, exceeding norm, the head of the block is ground.

After performance of check and repair of valves and their details the skilled personnel, the head of the block of cylinders is completely restored. Before installation of a head of the block wash out it once again to remove the remains of an abrasive material from polishing of a head or grinding in of valves. At possibility blow all channels and openings of a head of cylinders the compressed air.
