Prevention
On these models the airbag of safety which can reveal is established (to be filled with air) when it is connected to the accumulator. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator and wait for at least two minutes before the work beginning with a safety airbag.
If the stereoplayer of your car has coding system, check, whether you know a code of activation of a player before an accumulator detachment.

Removal

| 1. Disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator. |
| 2. Remove a casing of a steering column (see subsection 11.22) both the bottom panel of furnish and (subsection 11.23). |
| 3. Walk along a plait of wires of that switch which is subject to check, to the connection socket. |

Check

| 1. Disconnect the socket of connection and, by means of an ohmmeter check a chain elektroprovodnost between the specified plugs when switches are in each of the specified provisions. |
| 2. If the current is not carried out, replace the faulty switch. |

Replacement
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove the combined switch (see subsection 12.6). Turn off four screws, fixing a spiral wire of an airbag of safety and remove a wire from the combined switch. |
| 2. Turn off fixing screws of the switch which it is necessary to replace and remove the faulty switch. |
| 3. Get wires of the replaced switch from the general plait of wires and disconnect them from the connection socket. |
| 4. Get wires of the replaced switch from the general plait of wires and disconnect them from the connection socket. |
|
5. Wring out uvulas behind the socket of connection and uncover. In front of the socket of connection insert a small screw-driver or a spoke and wring out a latch holding contact, get contact behind the connection socket. |
| 6. Come into contacts of the new switch in the connection socket, having inserted them so that latches reliably fixed contacts. |
| 7. Further, installation is carried out upside-down removals. Being guided by instructions, (see subsection 10.16) adjust a wire twirled by a spiral, before installation of a steering wheel. |
