Always use the button of an automatic choice of a mode for increase of profitability and decrease in loading of the engine. At low temperature of cooling liquid automatic inclusion of the 4th transfer will not occur, even if the button of the switch is pressed.

Braking by the engine
For braking by the engine transmission is switched to a low gear as follows.
Switch off the button of the switch of an automatic choice of a mode (this measure is effective only at movement when the lever is in situation "D"). The light index of «O/D of Off» thus will light up, and transmission will be switched to the third transfer.
Councils on driving
If when overcoming flat lifting too frequent switching from the 3rd transfer on the 4th and on the contrary is observed, wring out the button of an automatic choice of a mode. After lifting overcoming immediately press the button.
When towing the trailer to use the button of an automatic choice of a mode it is not recommended for preservation of efficiency of braking.
