Removal and dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Removal of pistons and rods needs removal of a head of cylinders and the case pallet (and also the oil pump), however it is possible to leave a cranked shaft in the block of cylinders. After that pistons and rods are pushed out by means of the hammer handle from the interior of the block of cylinders up after covers of bearings of rods and loose leaves of bearings are removed. Before carrying out this work it is necessary to familiarize with instructions concerning marking, adjusting situation etc., given for petrol engines.
2. To separate pistons from rods, it is necessary to remove lock rings of piston fingers. Then to place the piston in hot water (not less than 80 ° C) and to beat out by means of the corresponding drift and a hammer. Remove piston rings nippers for piston rings. Check of pistons and rods is made how it becomes on petrol engines, however taking into account the values given in a size table and adjustments. Loose leaves of bearings of rods get out according to values of admissions. Loose leaves of bearings are marked by figures 1, 2 or 3 and the same figure is beaten out on the outer side of covers of bearings of rods. Surely provide coincidence of both markings.
