GENERAL INFORMATION

At assembly of pistons and rods to observe the following instructions:

The arrow on the piston bottom (or put, or on a new rod with an arrow) should be turned to a forward part of the engine.

"VORN" label on a rod should be turned to a forward part of the engine. On a rod near to the bearing there is a small ledge which should settle down closer to the forward party of the engine.

Indexes of numbers цилинров on rods and covers of bearings should coincide.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. By means of nippers for lock rings insert one of lock rings into a piston opening. The ring should sit down in a pro-point well.
2. Warm up the piston on an electric stove or in hot water to about 80 ° With, grease a finger and a piston opening with engine oil and press a finger a thumb into correctly connected piston and a rod against the stop a finger in a lock ring on the other hand. Establish in a piston opening the second lock ring.
3. Check that after assembly the piston can overturn on a rod freely in both parties.
4. Put on both kompressionny rings and a maslosjemny ring. It is possible to establish both kompressionny rings by mistake the overturned. In order to avoid a mistake on one of the parties the letters "T" or "N" are put and these letters after putting on of a ring should be visible from the piston bottom (from above).
