3.2.20. Fuel pump of a high pressure

GENERAL INFORMATION

The established fuel pump of a high pressure

Before removal put a label on the pump in the specified place.

If the new fuel pump of a high pressure is established, it is necessary to check all details of the device of injection.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge liquid from cooling system.
2. Disconnect a gas cable from the fuel pump of a high pressure.
3. Disconnect the following hoses: two bypass hoses and if it is established, a conditioner hose.
4. Unscrew an inlet tube of injection. It fastens the ring lock.
5. After release of a collar disconnect a final fuel hose.
6. Unscrew a bolt and a nut of fastening of a tube of a heater.
7. Disconnect four tubes of injection. For this purpose unscrew nuts with which four tubes to an inlet collector fasten, release tightening collars and unscrew cap nuts. It is for this purpose better to use a cap natural a cut through which there can pass a tube. Do not break a side of heads of cap nuts.
8. Remove a gear belt. Also the driving gear wheel of the fuel pump of a high pressure thus acts in film.
9. Check the provision of a label on the water pump. If labels it is not visible, turn the pump and places of fastening in the specified way. Adjustment of the fuel pump of a high pressure is difficult work which is better for making in a workshop, however a guarantee of that after installation the engine will be easily started, installation on labels is. Adjustment make only when the engine works not how it should work.
10. Unscrew bolts and two nuts, remove the back console of the pump (four bolts) and pull out the pump.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put the pump in the correct situation and turn it so that labels on the pump and on the water pump were exposed how is shown in drawing. Tighten fingers both nuts and a bolt. The final inhaling is made after installation of the back console. Establish the console and tighten four bolts the moment of 20 N of m. After that bolts and nuts on the other hand can be tightened by the same moment.
2. Establish a driving gear wheel of the fuel pump of a high pressure and a gear belt, with installation of a cover of a gear belt.
3. Connect to the fuel pump of a high pressure an inlet tube. Establish new sealing washers and fix a tube a hollow bolt. Put on and fix a collar a fuel hose.
4. In the same way fix a final fuel tube, but here tighten a cap nut. Put on and fix a collar a hose.
5. Tighten four tubes of injection.
6. Connect a gas cable. Check that the fuel pump is established in the provision of full gas and comes back back to the provision of idling.
7. Other works are made upside-down.
