3.2.21. Nozzles

GENERAL INFORMATION

For an obzhatiya or for repair of a nozzle it is necessary to give to a workshop on diesel engines. Do not do this work by no means independently, as except need to have the special tool, pressure of injection can cause a trauma if to hold fingers near an injection cone. To define badly working nozzle, consistently turn on injection tubes from nozzles and start the engine. If operation of the engine after a tube otvorachivaniye from a certain nozzle does not change, it means that work of this nozzle is broken.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn on both nuts, fixing tubes of injection to an inlet collector. Turn on both cap nuts of each tube of injection by a cap natural a cut. Such key can be put on a nut in the presence of a tube. Otherwise use a usual key. Unscrew collars of fastening and take out tubes.
2. Disconnect from a tube oil plum a fuel hose, unscrew four nuts and lift the receiver oil plum (a returnable tube) and a washer.
3. Turn out nozzles the extended key. At stations of service of Toyota the special tool is for this purpose used. Do not damage thus a nozzle. Combine nozzles as removal if they are repeatedly established.
4. Installation of nozzles is made upside-down.
5. At installation surely replace condensing ring. The moment of an inhaling of nozzles makes 65 N of m. Do not exceed this moment of an inhaling as because of it nozzles can be bent or jam needles of nozzles.
6. Impose on nozzles four washers and connect a returnable tube. Screw four nuts and tighten the moment of 30 N of m. Connect a hose to a returnable tube.
7. Establish injection tubes. At first freely fix both tightening collars on an inlet collector and screw cap nuts of all tubes. Tighten cap nuts. The moment of an inhaling makes 30 N of m, do not draw a nut. After that fix tubes both collars and nuts.
8. Turn the engine crankshaft a starter and consistently weaken cap nuts from nozzles. Production of air is thus made. Again tighten cap nuts the moment of 30 N of m.
9. Other works are made upside-down.
