1.6.15. Pressure check in tires


In subsection 2.1 are specified recommended pressure in cold tires and type of the tires established on the car.

Pressure in tires (including a spare wheel) is checked 1 time in 2 weeks, but not реже1 once a month.

At low pressure in tires controllability the car worsens, profitability decreases, the probability of a rupture of the tire because of an overheat increases. Besides, at the lowered pressure consolidation of a board of the tire worsens. At big pressure drop deformation of a wheel and (or) tire stratification is possible.

At too high pressure amortization decreases, controllability worsens, wear in the central part of a protector amplifies, danger of a rupture of a tire increases when driving on the bumpy road.


Check pressure only in cold tires, later not less than 3 h after a trip or after a trip on distance no more than 1,5 km.

It is not allowed to determine pressure by appearance of the tire, measure pressure by a manometer.

Driving and comfort of a trip worsen even at pressure change only on some tenth shares of the atmosphere.

It is forbidden to reduce pressure in tires after a trip.
