1.6.21. Check of level of electrolit


The car is completed both served, and unattended batteries. The last have a brand in the top part (Maintenance Free), care of such batteries is not required.

On served batteries level of electrolit should be between marks in the battery case.
Level check in all six sections of the battery. If level is lower than the bottom mark, add the distilled water.

If the battery is equipped with the built-in areometer, be guided by areometer indications. The condition of the battery is determined by areometer coloring.

On unattended batteries the condition of the battery is supervised on the built-in areometer.

At a dolivaniye of the distilled water excess of level is not allowed.

Addition of the distilled water

1. Remove jams.
2. Add the distilled water in those sections in which level is lowered.
3. If the battery wall opaque, a surface of a meniscus has to be on the brink of a section mouth (for check look from above, as is shown in drawing: at the left – low level, on the right – normal).
