1.6.17. Shift of wheels

GENERAL INFORMATION

Scheme of shift of wheels

 

Shift is necessary for uniform wear of tires.

The manufacturer recommends the following intervals between shifts:

 – on cars with a formula 4х4 – through each 5000 km;
 – on other cars – through each 10 000 km.

At replacement of wheels check uniformity of wear of tires. Unevenness of wear is, as a rule, caused by the wrong corners of installation of wheels, distinction of pressure in tires, an imbalance of wheels, sharp braking.
